Jim's ability to entertain audiences was evident at an early age, and developed into a professional career in 1989. As one of the most talented stand-up comics in Canada, Jim has been headlining at top comedy clubs across the country and taking his particular brand of the hilarious to many cities internationally as well. In recent years, Jim's love of entertainment has branched out from live performances to radio and television appearances. Jim has been featured numerous times on CBC's "Madly Off In All Directions", a radio broadcast that showcases Canadian talent. Jim's reputation as a talented entertainer led to an invitation to CBC's Halifax Comedy Festival, and his ½ hour special can currently be seen on "Comedy Now!", a nationally broadcast comedy show. He has also appeared on "The Mike Bullard Show" and "Comedy at Club 54".

Corporate Entertainment.
In addition to performances at comedy clubs, Jim has been entertaining corporate audiences for the past eight years. Some of the companies he has performed for include The United Way, Bell Canada, Sprint Canada, Cathay Pacific, Kraft Foods, Magna International, Scouts Canada, and The Ottawa Food Bank.
